My Sphero won't hold a charge

Sphero's battery should last up to 60 minutes of constant play on a full charge. If Sphero has been fully charged but loses energy and turns off shortly after connecting, please try the following:

  • Ensure Sphero sits properly in the charging cradle, heavy side down, and receives a full charge. To find his heavy side, place him on a hard surface like a table. Sphero will naturally settle with this sweet spot at the bottom. The charger will blink blue when charging begins, turning solid when complete.

  • Plug Sphero's charger into a different outlet/power source and repeat the previous step.

If you've attempted both steps but Sphero continues to die quickly after connecting, please contact us.
