In the Sphero Edu app activity, Draw 1: Shapes, you may be receiving a -999 Error Code when trying to upload a photo using the 'Upload Photo' button under the heading 'Show Your Progress'.
It's possible that you have granted the Sphero Edu app permission to access your compatible device's photo album through the app. Ensure that you have selected 'All' photos as opposed to 'Selected'. You can check which type of permission you have granted to the Sphero Edu app in the Settings of your compatible device.
