Sphero Mini has two different modes for powering off. Check out the details below:

  1. Standby mode - to put your Sphero Mini into standby mode, simply close Sphero Mini application. Mini will automatically enter Standby mode once the application is closed. To wake your Sphero Mini from standby, launch the Sphero Mini app. If your Mini has been in standby for longer than a few days, you may need to charge it prior to connecting again.

  2. Power Off mode - to fully power off your Sphero Mini, navigate to the setting screen, then "Advanced" settings in the Sphero Mini application. Once there, tap the "Power Off" button. This setting will power off your robot and help extend its battery life. Use this feature if you do not plan to play with your robot for a few days. When you are ready to play again, plug in your robot to power it on.
