The Sphero Edu platform works on almost any device through our mobile app (iOS, Android*, Kindle), desktop app (Windows, Mac, Chrome) or website. Some platforms don't support all robots and features so please review the table below.

*Even though some older Android devices may meet the requirements described above, they may not be fully compatible due to variation in the quality of Bluetooth hardware. Contact us at support@sphero.com about compatibility if you are purchasing Android devices for school use or are planning to use our robots with your fleet of Android devices.

Amazon Fire Tablet Warning: Location permissions are required to scan for Sphero robots. FreeTime and children accounts on Kindle devices have location permissions disabled. As a result, Bluetooth connectivity does not work while using Sphero Edu in FreeTime with a child account.
