Sphero Mini Connection TroubleshootingUpdated 5 months ago

If you're using a compatible device, double-check that your device has Bluetooth enabled -- if you're using an Android device, also enable Location Services. 

Our Sphero Mini robot utilizes Bluetooth 4.0 to create a connection to your device, so no pairing through the Bluetooth menu is necessary. Simply launch the Sphero Play app and hold your device close to your robot and follow the on-screen instructions. 

Kindle Users: Location permissions are required to scan for Sphero robots. FreeTime and children accounts on Kindle devices have location permissions disabled. As a result, Bluetooth connectivity does not work while using Sphero Play in FreeTime with a child account.

If your connection issue persists, try uninstalling the Sphero Play application.
